BECA is a nonprofit Latino scholarship organization committed to building tomorrow’s Latino leaders through higher education. Through financial support and mentoring, BECA encourages and empowers aspiring Latino students to pursue their goals. This enables the strengthening of students for lives of purpose, service and leadership in our communities.
This program was established to promote and strengthen technical cooperation between CONACyT and UT Arlington through the encouragement and support of Mexican graduate students admitted to doctoral programs in Science and Engineering at UT Arlington. As part of this program UT Arlington commits to sponsor up to 5 new doctoral students a year and both CONACyT and UT Arlington will provide scholarship and cost-sharing benefits to students that matriculate and remain registered and in good academic standing.

Edmund S Muskie Graduate Fellowship Program
Established by the US Congress in 1992 to encourage economic and democratic growth in Eurasia, the Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship Program is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State, and administered by IREX. The program provides opportunities for graduate students and professionals from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan for one-year non-degree, one-year degree or two-year degree study in the United States. Eligible fields of study for the Muskie Program are: business administration, economics, education, environmental management, international affairs, journalism and mass communication, law, library and information science, public administration, public health, and public policy.
Organization of American States
The objective of the Organization of American States (OAS) Program of Scholarships and Training is to assist the member states with their domestic efforts in pursuit of integral development goals by supporting human resource development in the priority areas established by the Summits of the Americas, the Strategic Plan for Partnership for Integral Development of the Inter-American Council for Integral Development (CIDI), and the OAS General Assembly.
The Panamanian National Secretariat of Science, Technology, and Innovation (SENACyT) is an autonomous institution whose mission is to convert science and technology into tools for sustainable development for Panama. Its projects and programs are focused on developing the nation’s science and technology to improve the quality of life for all Panamanians.
Royal Thai Scholars
The Royal Thai Scholars program gives scholarships to Thai students to obtain Master’s or PhDs in various disciplines at US universities. The selection process for this highly competitive program includes academic writing exams, tests of English proficiency, and interviews.
VEF Nominated Scholars
This program was established to promote and strengthen international exchanges in science and technical education and research between UT Arlington and the Vietnam Education Foundation (VEF) through the encouragement and support of Vietnamese graduate students admitted to graduate programs in Science and Engineering at UT Arlington. As part of this program UT Arlington commits to sponsor up to 3 new nominated students a year and both VEF and UT Arlington will provide funding and scholarship benefits to students that matriculate and remain registered and in good academic standing.
