Important New Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination Requirements Begin January 2012
Effective January 1st, 2012, incoming Texas college students under 30 years old must be immunized against bacterial meningitis before they can enroll. If you have been admitted for Summer or Fall and plan to enroll, you may submit meningitis vaccination documentation to Magnus Health SMR. UT Arlington asks students to submit proof that they have been vaccinated against meningitis at least 10 days before the start of the semester.
Dissertation Lab (D-Lab)
May 29th-31st, 2012
Dissertation Lab is a three-day workshop to help students progress through the difficult process of writing their dissertation. Over the course of three days, D-Lab furnishes an environment and support for intense, focused and productive writing. The program provides participants with the structure and motivation to overcome typical roadblocks in the dissertation process. Our goal is to assist each participant in making significant progress towards completing their dissertation. Student must submit an application to attend this workshop. Additional information including the deadline for submitting applications can be found in the D-Lab Information handout. Accepted participants must be prepared to write and agree to attend all three days of the program.
